Mrs Dude's Boob Fund

Starting Wedesday night, we're going to be encouraging people to "give the shirt off their back" for families fighting breast cancer! If you love your shirt too much, you can also buy a shirt for $15! You are invited to join us at the kick-off event next Wednesday at the Sioux Empire Fair from 5pm-7pm.

If you are unable to attend on Wednesday night, we will be at the fair from Tuesday noon through Sunday night!

If you unable to come to Sioux Falls, we would encourage you to make a donation to Mrs Dude's Boob Fund through the widget on the right!

I started the Mrs Dude's Boob Fund because I want to raise somereal money for cancer research and families affected by breast cancer.Its Mother's Day for goodness sake. We all have a mother.Many of us havea wife. Some of us have a daughter. I can't imagine anythingmore important than these women in my life. When I was bouncing aroundthis idea, someone suggested raising $30,000 - one thousand dollarsfor every year of Vicki Hyde's life - so that's our goal.

Thefirst$15,000 will go to the Susan G. Komen fund and the second $15,000will be used to set up a fund that I'm calling Mrs Dude's Boob Fund,which will help families affected by cancer. The thought would bethat these resources could be used for everything from hotel costsfor families staying near hospitals to scholarships for children infamilies struggling with the costs of health care. There are millionsrightfully being spent on important research, but there are familiesdealing with the stress of this disease that could use the help rightnow. They need a Boob Fund. They need Mrs. Dude's Boob Fund.
